Did you think I was referring to that event going on today in the United States?
No, no, no.
I ain’t got time to discuss that!
And, I wouldn’t do that to you anyways — I like you 🙂
A lot of the guru marketers seem that they have it all together.
Or life is just perfect for them.
Nothing goes wrong.
Everything goes to plan.
Bills are always paid BEFORE their due.
Their products, programs & services always sell out.
Their Facebook ads always convert and for every $1 they invest, they always get (at least) $3 in return — a 300% ROI, at minimum!
Their Lamborghini is always spotless
They never have to borrow money from the check cashing store at 458% interest
They never fight with their partner, their kids always listen, and they’re never late to appointments.
They sure as Hell don’t deal with self-doubt like you and I do
Life is just sunshine & rainbows for them.
Or is it?
Maybe they just show the highlight reel to all of us?
Maybe some months money is tight…
Maybe they do question what they are doing…
Maybe they RIG it so it looks like everything is perfect.
Yesterday, I was chatting with a friend about self doubt. He’s a big time marketer and someone who I have looked up to for years.
He deals with self doubt all the time.
He recently attended a mastermind with a lot of 7 figure marketers.
And they all deal with it, too.
Everyone deals with it, I just find the high achievers are better at managing it.
They still deal with it, sometimes daily.
In fact, I recently asked New York Times Best Selling author how he deals with it, and he told me this…
So if you’re dealing with it, you’re certainly not alone.
Lately, I have been on a quest to ask other entrepreneurs how they deal with it. It’s almost became an obsession of mine.
I honestly thought the high level people had it “all figured out”.
I am learning we are all more alike than I thought.
Today I started writing a sales page for Dad-Preneur Edge, even though I am not a copywriter.
I kicked self-doubt to the side, and started typing, as it is a skill I want to master.
It is not finished, but will be sharing the link with you soon.
Like Jon Acuff says, he surrounds himself with hustlers as how he manages his self doubt.
